Hospitality Film

Created independently with approved access throughout the Gevora Hotel guest experience.

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGE

In 2021, Rickee Arts proposed an independent hospitality film during a stay at Gevora Hotel in Dubai.

Filming within the property required advance approval and coordination. After reviewing the proposal, Gevora Hotel granted access and assisted with navigating the spaces available for production.

The creative challenge was translating a large and varied guest experience into one cohesive visual journey.

The hotel’s exterior architecture, interiors, amenities, skyline views, dining environments, and car museum each carried a different visual character. The film needed to connect those spaces naturally while preserving the scale, atmosphere, and sense of discovery experienced throughout the property.

Approach

Makent presents the project as a study in hospitality storytelling, with production completed independently through Rickee Arts.

The film was developed around scale, movement, atmosphere, and progression through the guest experience.

Exterior frames established the hotel within Dubai. Interior sequences moved through shared spaces, amenities, elevated views, and the car museum as connected parts of the stay.

Wide compositions emphasized architecture and spatial scale. Controlled camera movement created continuity between environments. Natural light, deliberate pacing, and warm color supported the atmosphere without making the film feel overly promotional.

Rickee Arts managed the complete process from proposal development and planning through filming, editing, color, and final delivery.

Outcome

The completed film brought the hotel’s architecture, amenities, atmosphere, and guest experience into one unified visual story.

Gevora Hotel reviewed and approved the completed film and acknowledged the project following delivery.

Created independently with approved access, the project demonstrates the ability to recognize a storytelling opportunity, develop a concept, secure permission, navigate an international hospitality environment, and execute the complete production process.

Makent presents the film as an example of how hospitality storytelling can connect place, experience, and atmosphere through a focused visual narrative.
